doodah, watts bar, crappie, 4-25-09 - FishNews - 04-26-2009
Started today at about 10. Left from the house and went close to the dam.. Water temps there were almost 65 degrees.. Really clear till the wind started blowing. I had a couple of rods out, one with a 1/16 jig with a white body. The other had minnows.. Caught the first 4 on the jig and the biggest was on the jig. Fished in anywhere from 2 foot to 25 of water.. All fish caught very shallow. A couple still had eggs. We must still be in the spawn or very late one.. I only fished till 1230 and got tired of fighting the wind.. Ended up with a nice mess..
