JDK, Lower Chick, Bass, 5/8, JDK Jr - FishNews - 05-09-2009 <br /> Me and the son headed out around 830 to fish a little after dark.. first cast hooked a 16" 2 lb smallie then hooked another small largemouth before dark.. After dark caught 9 bass with biggest being right at 2.5 lbs.. All fish caught on craws and cranks.. Great night to be on the water.. got to work early in morning or would have stayed all night... might just do that tomorrow night.. Nothing like night fishing on a full moon... Saw Sshimmons fishing the bank by the dam and snapping a few pictures not sure if he caught anybig ones couldnt get close enough to say hi... <br /> Had two nice fish release them self at the boat never got a look at either fish as they both stayed deep... those always hurt but hopefully i get that big boy again soon!!<br /> Water temp had cooled to 66 after all the rain <br /> http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq341/JDK1878/Chick2lbsmalliemay8th.jpg <br />
