anyone fishing deep creek - walleyenut - 05-12-2009
i want to go to deep creek fishing but dont want to make the trip till the fish start hitting thanks happy fishing[cool]

I realize that this thread is fairly old, but Yeah, I fish Deep Creek ALOT! Loads of eater size walleye, jumbo perch, and huge bluegills are the prominent species. I mainly fish for the walleye's! The evening bite is on right now but, I would strongly recomend fishing on a tue, wed or thurs. due to the large quantities of pleasure boaters on the week-ends. 20 minutes down the road is Jennings Randolf Lake. Much smaller and way less traffic. Not quite as prolific as Deep Creek but the quality of the walleye is much better.
