Need a tune-up - HookJaw_Brimhall - 05-19-2009
Well, I found my killer deal on an outboard for my canoe. The guy I purchased it form said that it ran last year but probably needs a tune-up.
Is there anyone that would be willing to check this motor out for me (With plenty of experience) and get her tuned up for fairly cheap? I don't really know much about these outboards. I live in Ogden, please let me know if you have some time and a place to run it and check it out.

Looks like its in pretty good shape!! I would put some new plugs in it and change the impeller and go from there? No need to spend any money on it unless you have too?JMO[

chk the fuel system, run some sea foam in it., maybe chk the carb.,

I run a mobile repair business and I'd be happy to help you. I know the motor well. There's not much to it, so you aren't looking at a big investment.
