Travels to Strawberry - One_eyed_jack - 06-20-2003

For conversation sake, does anyone know the time it takes to get to Strawberry from say 3300 south and I-15 through Parleys canyon compared to Provo canyon? Also if you were towing which way was more stressful on your vehicle? If no one knows I will report it back on Monday.

I am always looking for the easier route!

I would have to say its a 1.5 hour trip over Parleys . Longer going Provo canyon , never timed it , but lot less wear on the trans. You still got the climb over Daniels summit either way . But it also depends on where on Strawberry you are heading too .

I always drive up from provo canyon alot less steep of grade than parleys! I usually get their in 1 hour 20 minutes

Well all, in case you are wondering, the Provo canyon route will be the way for me from now on. My tow vehicle was much happier and there was really no loss or gain in the drive time, there was however alot less gas used on the trip.
