Yellow Creek: Walleye where? - dSchneid - 06-11-2009 Anyone got tips for Walleye at Yellow Creek S.P.? I have a downrigger, snap weights, jigs, etc. Plus tips for Pike would be nice too. Thanks! I fish there often for bass and i like it! lots of smallmouth. When i do fish for eyes i just jig for them with jigs that i make tipped with a Gulp alive jerk shad. Works well for me. I'm not a good eye fisherman so that may not be the best advice. However i have read and heard that the best time for them over there is about 1AM. i have never fished it then so i cant say yes or no. For pike just drag some rapalas behind the boat and you will catch some. I catch them all the time when i fish for bass over there, they seem to hit on everything. Sorry i was not much help but i tried lol. [signature] |
