Top Water action for Wipers? - BearLakeMack - 06-24-2003

Has anyone been getting into any top water boils yet? I have heard of a few guys catching wipers on the cast but just wondering if anyone has had any top water action?

I havent seen anything BLM. Been keeping my eyes peeled for the boils and as of yet, havent even seen any real tern action.

I haven't seen any for sure, I've seen what I thought was a boil but casting into it did not catch any fish. Very few birds are diving, if at all. I would think by now we would be seeing some surface activity and the shad should have hatched (or what ever it's called) but nothing. I thought this year, because the lake did not freeze, there would be tons of shad, I hope it is coming soon. WH2

they were not boiling but that doesnt mean they wont hit topwater. i have started boils out there before by getting reaction bites at night and then a feeding frenzy ensues. i have had two nights on topwater lures already.
