worm and marshmallow? - aloneone - 07-31-2009

i read an article about a few guys who went to strawberry during ice off they said they did very well "bouncing a worm with marshmallow of the shore". if someone could please clarify this[Wink], ive herd of still fishing with a worm and marshmallow combo but never herd of bouncing them?! how does this work? it seems to be an excellent method.

Got to love the old "worm and marshmellow" combo, classic. Use to kill them up at Henry's lake at open day with that (from a boat). As for the "bouncing" strategy, cast it out towards the unmelted ice, let it hit the bottom, and then bounce your rod tip up and down as you continously real in the slack. Like jigging. 90% of the time, you will get hit on the initial drop (if you get close to the unmelted ice). This is possible during the ice off as the moss and other junk has not grown up yet. Don't try this now, or you will catch a salad instead of a cutt. lol!
