arngee, chick, LMB, 8/10, son - FishNews - 08-12-2009 Hit the chick for a few hours on monday evening. Caught a few on swimmers and worms. But this post is all about my son (12 but young at bass fishing). He's struggled a bit this summer watchin the old-man fish the same bait he was and catch good fish while he would only pulled in a few on cranks. He was down to say the least. But last night after having that dad-to-son talk of perseverance, I watched him throw and throw and then he finally felt his first real "thump-thump". And WHAM, set the hook, fish in the boat. I couldn't be more happier to see his success and to welcome him into the club of "worm men, extrodanaire".
