Headed toward dam first, hit a riprap bank with edy currents. Threw jerkbait partner threw tube, caught some shorts and I caught keeper SM on jerkbait. Bite slowed so we ran down river, fished steep banks and sloping ones only managed more shorts and a catfish. Went as far as the bend, no keepers so headed back up toward the dam. Fished moving water with jigs, Ray caught largemouth keeper. Kept throwing, then horn sounded and another generator came on line increasing current. Ray stuck a strong fish, thought it could be a striper or big drum? but after a good fight it came up and was a 4+ smallmouth netted it. We had our three but kept throwing Ray stuck another good fish but it pulled off after a short fight. We did not catch alot of keepers but we were blessed with enough for the win and big fish.
