<br /> Fished super shallow grass early with a new wakebait I recently purchased.. it drove the bass nuts.. Caught about 10 fish on it before 11 AM then moved deep and caught a few more on Yamamotto 8&amp;quot; grubs C-riged. The ledge bite is seeming to slow down some for me. finished the day on a main river drop on some schooling fish and caught a boat full in 3 hours.. Total count for the day was well over 30 just lost count after a while.. but struggled to find keepers as usual. Did finally catch my 5th keeper late to scrape out a limit. Best five was 12 lbs 4 oz with a nice 3 lb 8 oz big fish.. Big fish came in a back water area in less then 1 ft of water.. I was trolling away and I heard him busting shad spun around and threw my wake bait and BAM he nailed it.. He looked real small from the distance then he came up like a torpedo and i thought i had a 5lber LOL.. but settled in at 3lb 8 oz..
