Dang you ,I missed out on the doves this morning due to working. I bet those guys down at pleasant valley smacked the crap out of them. How many of those doves were black collared? Nice job on making me jealous. Though I'm not jealous of the bird breasting that you get to do tonight. hahahaha. Good bag of birds. I may have to try tonight or tomorrow, heck if I get some time I might have to wait a couple of days. OH one more question. How did your pup do?

The PV boys killed around 90 this morning[
]All were mourning doves. I've seen the collared doves down there, but just not today. The breasting is all done. Not a bad job, just not much meat. Gonna grille up some kabobs with those little bad boys.
The pup did really well. Just did "dead bird" and blind retrieves.

Nice bag of doves!! I use to love dove hunting back when I was young and there were plenty of places to hunt them! they sure are fun to try and shoot...lol

I've been seeing a lot of Eurasian Collard Doves this year. Especially around town.
