What to use? - FendertheFisher - 11-08-2009 So to go crappie fishing ive always used either a wrom on a hook or a minow on a hook. (With a bobber) What is another good thing to catch some crappie? I have caught them trolling with small repallas. [signature] Re: [FendertheFisher] What to use? - albinotrout - 11-11-2009 Jigs are a always a good bet. Especially white. Both plastic and the forgotten marabou jig work very well. The smallest jigs that have worked for me was 1/124th oz. Caught 10 decent ones on that tiny thing. It was tied with Chartruse sparkle chinelle and mariboo tail . The picture is of a storage box of hair jigs I tied while sitting with a broke ankle. Merry Christmas all, Illinoisgiller [signature] |
