caddis navigator VI - DH_tubinjoe - 07-10-2003
today was the first day I used my NEW tube. I was so excited. it worked out great.
the pockets on the craft were very large. perfect for storing my extra water and sandals and stuff. as well as my tackle box(that I forgot).
It was a major upgrade from the old "shark donut".[laugh][laugh][laugh]. It was much faster and much more maneuverable. it also handled the wind great.
the tube was a great investment!

[cool]Congratulations on a good "shakedown cruise". FORGOT YOUR TACKLE BOX? Now you are an official float tuber. All of us have to do that at least once or we ain't normal.

well, there is another post titled "my day at alamitos bay". that was the trip on wednesday. I also went to day with chris and aaron. we did about the same. I got 10 sand bass, chris got 9 sand bass, aaron got 1 sand bass and an 18" halibut.
not a bad day, but I got a sunburn that cuts off at my chest right where my waders go up to. It is pretty funny!
but all is good!
