Willard Marinas - a-b - 07-10-2003 I keep hearing horor stories about the water depth at both Willard marinas. Which is the best one to launch from now north or south??? I was thinking about takeing the wife and son out this weekend but hate the thought of tearing up props or worse. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks a-b [signature] Re: [a-b] Willard Marinas - aquaman - 07-10-2003 they say he south marina is deeper but i think all you guys with boats fishing willard should get some push poles to get to deeper water chris [signature] Re: [a-b] Willard Marinas - moby_dick - 07-10-2003 hahahaha, at least you have a boat. I, personally, wouldn't lower my main motor until my fishfinder reads 4+ feet and not until I was out in the main body of water. The North Marina had a very HARD rise just east of the ramps. Last time I was there it was 1.5 ft deep on my fishfinder. I know. It comes out of nowhere and put a ding in my Stainless prop so you know it's hard. I won't launch there again. [signature] |
