Got in the water about 7:30, very foggy and misty. They still were running 7 flood gates, about 70,000 cu.ft. per sec. Started out with the spinner bait and got a good 4 lb.+ smallie first thing! Then got a real good spot, a couple of LM, another good spot. Kept on fishing, got another 4 lb. smallie. I found JDK and he was nice enough to be the photographer today! Went back to the same place and started over, BAM! Got a smallie around 5 lbs.! I think I caught another LM and then another smallie around 4 lbs. Chased down JDK again! Now I go back again. But now they won't hit the spinner bait!? Switched to a jerk bait and after about 5 or 6 cast, Bam! Got another smallie over 4 lbs.! It's getting time for the Turkey now so I go hunt down JDK again for another picture and I'm ready to load. I caught 13 fish total and as always, they were released, but it was certainly one of my better days! Water temp was 55 / 56 degrees. Thanks again Josh!
