Stock spinning reel seats are not very comfortable (except for the Amtak Aero design) but we custom builders can fix that.
Here is a really comfortable spinning seat/grip design.

very nice Raymond, one of these days I'm going to have to try and make a cork handle out of the rings. I like that checkerd band look. later chuck
