2010 Cowlitz River recreational smelt season to start Feb. 6 - FishNews - 01-17-2010
Species affected: Smelt
Effective dates: Feb. 6, 13, 20 and 27, 2010.<br />
Action: Open Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.<br />
Location: Cowlitz River.<br />
Daily Limit: Ten-pound daily limit. Possession limit is equal to one daily limit.<br />
Reason for action: The season is consistent with a Level 1 fishery, in accordance with the Washington and Oregon Eulachon Management Plan.<br />
