icefishing in Littleton? - Wildcard - 02-03-2010 Im making a weekend trip from Utah to Littleton this weekend. Anybody know where I can fish there? Ice fishing? Regular fishing? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! [signature] Re: [Wildcard] icefishing in Littleton? - DonInDenver - 02-05-2010 Sorry for the late reply. For some reason I'm not getting notification of new posts. Your best shot for ice fishing in/near Littleton is Chatfield Reservoir near C-470 and Wadsworth. It still has 12+ inches of ice. Small spoons (Buckshots and Frosties and Kastmasters) tipped with a minnow head have been producing rainbows and a few walleyes. You can get live minnows at Dicount Fishing on South Santa Fe, but their quality mis sometimes not the best in my opinion. I prefer Gander Mtn in Aurora for minnows. Best areas at Chatfield lately have been the Swim Beach, Massey Draw and Catfish Flats, especially early and late in the day. [signature] |
