Vance Creek Pond #1 will open for fishing to juveniles, seniors, holders of disability license - FishNews - 03-11-2010 Action: Open Vance Creek Pond #1 to fishing by juveniles, seniors (over 70 years old) and persons with Department of Fish and Wildlife disability licenses only. Effective dates: March 27, 2010 through April 4, 2010. Species affected: Trout and other game fish.<br /> Location: Vance Creek Pond #1, Grays Harbor County.<br /> Reasons for action: The opener will allow additional fishing opportunity for juveniles, seniors, and holders of a Department of Fish and Wildlife disability license during local school districts spring break. Vance Creek Pond # 1 is an "Opening Day" lake with juvenile, senior, and disabled regulations, and will re-open the last Saturday in April.<br /> Other information: Area open to fishing March 27 through April 4 in Pond #1 only.
