I wanted to try my new rod and reel that I bought over a week ago, and today was the first chance I got. Started fishing about 3pm and didnt get a bite for about 45 min. Then someone flipped the switch on. I caught 6 whites, 3 spots and 1 pretty smallie in about 30min. Then the switch turned back off. Nothing real big but I had a good time. The biggest white was about 1 1/2lbs the biggest spot was just over 2 and the SM was just under 2lbs. Caught 2 of the whites on a jerkbait and everything else was caught on a 3" hologram grub.
