Spring fishing in Southern Utah - MrLipripper - 03-31-2010 Headed out camping near Kanab around May 9. I know Asay Creek and the Sevier near Hatch can be good but a little concerned about runoff. The little lakes by Duck Creek might not be ready yet. Maybe Panguitch, too. Any other ideas? Any other ideas?[/quote] HB141 will have Asay Creek off limits unless you have written permission from the land owner (as of May 10). There are public sections of the Sevier near Hatch, make sure you don't trespass without written permission. by May 9, runoff will have begun anyway. Asay and the Sevier near Hatch will be flowing HIGH and muddy. I would not recommend that area. Duck Creek will still be burried in snow. Panguitch too. That's going to be a tough time to find stream to fish in that neck of the woods. [signature] |
