Turkey hunting at the gorge - Gorgefanatic - 04-13-2010
I went turkey hunting on the north slope this weekend and it sucked. too much snow. Though the fishing was spectacular! cant remember how many rainbows I caught from the shore at sheep creek but there was two that I would say went 4-5 lbs. It was awesome, my nephew was the one with the turkey permit but he was having so much fun he wanted to go fishing on sunday rather than hunt.

Last year we saw a flock down at "Little Hole" on the West Shore - we had came down over Diamond mountain. They were with a couple hundred yards of the Green - Hope it's in your Turkey Tag area....

I SAW A GOOD FLOCK LAST YR BY SHEEP CREEK. RIGHT WHERE YOU TURN RIGHT TO GO UP INTO THAT CAMP GROUND BY THE CREEK. 2 REAL BIG TOMS I GOT SOME PIC,S RIGHT BY THE BRIDGE.
