Murdock Basin - Junksiege - 08-03-2003 Anyone been fishing up in Murdock Basin this year? Marshall lake, echo, joan, booker, etc.? How about the streams? Just wondering. Need to do some fishing but I think the old knees need a break from the hiking. The fish(brookies) were smaller, the biggest being about 9 inches, but the catching was fast. No kidding, I caught and released about 40 fish in 3 hours. I only quit because I ran out of worms. I was getting 5 or 6 fish from some of the holes. That was a lot of fun. Junksiege, you know how it is up there. I have not been up there this year but I have a hard time believing the fishing would be bad anywhere in the Murdock area. Last year(early spring) was great at Pyramid, Echo, and Jean. Let us know how you do. m [signature] |
