gonna be in collins for work this week and was hoping somebody could point me in the direction of some good places to wet a line. i know the poudre runs through town, and good stretches?

I don't fish up that way much any more, but I know the Poudre has been decent. The only question is whether runoff may have started.

There are lots of small bass ponds, too. Right outside of town is Horsetooth Res., and it has trout, walleyes, and smallmouth that can all be targeted from shore. There is also Douglas Res., a few miles north and it has all species, too, with some large wipers thrown in. Fly guys occasionally target them. Lots of rainbows and perch in Douglas.

There's a lot of water up that way, but the Poudre is the main piece of moving water.
