Small ponds - tkidder - 05-25-2010
Took my family out to fish a small pond up mayfield canyon yesterday. Lots of little brookies that made it fun for my boys (3 & 6 yr old) and my wife. Hot flies were renegades trailed by a rainbow warrior. Just fly and bubble, but it was a fun time watching the boys.
totals:
6yr old - 14 fish
3 yr old - 6 fish
wife - 5 fish
me - 7 fish

Nice brookies! I don't care how "nonnative" brooke trout are to the west, I love the little buggers. So many times they save the day. That looks like you had a great family outing.
