Hit the water a little after 6 pm and fished until dark targeting ledges and dropoffs. Water temp was 80. Caught my first largemouth on my third cast with a sexy shad cb on a ledge in 12 ft of water. Switched shortly after to a shakeyhead and proceeded to catch several more. The best was a 18.5 inch smallmouth that is going to finally force me to purchase a scale. It fought like a champ and swam away to live another day. Finished the night with a 15" spot on a hump under Robinson Bridge. Nice evening to be on the water for sure.
