south fork (snake) - jimpete525 - 06-19-2010 I had a few hours to kill this morning so i hit the south fork. I fished for about 4 hours and caught 4 browns, 1 hybrid, and a white fish. It was pretty slow fishing but the river is very high and the water is a little dirty. Hopefully the water level will come down soon. here are a couple of pic's of two of the fish I caught. Sounds like you did pretty good considering the changing water levels. I figured that the water was still a little high and cold, but I did find a few helgies against the bank along with some golden stones!! I'll bet within the end of next week things will start to happen up there.
