drumking, Riverpark, bass, 6/30/10, Bay Man - FishNews - 07-01-2010 Bay Man (Mark Camp) and I got out for a couple of hours of topwater fishing for bass at the Riverpark this am. We had 10 topwater bass and 2 fluke bass plus 1 little yellow bass. We caught our last fish before 8:00 am and ran downriver to let Mark look at some structures with his new side/bottom scan unit. Had the boat back on the trailer around 9:00 and off to have some breakfast. Very nice morning. Thanks for letting me tag along with you this AM, Mark. <br /><br />I caught my fish on Zara Puppy in 0 feet of water. emoPoke emoBig I was "walking the dog" with that bait and those largemouth bass don't like that a bit. They try to kill it. Mark was using a Pop-R and caught the biggest bass of the morning. We added a couple on a 4" fluke with a tail light. The yellow bass fell for a 2.75 inch fluke on a 1/16 oz jighead. I love these short, sweet mornings when you can catch a couple of bass on top. Back home before everybody got up. emoBig emoGeezer
