Uinta Fish Trip Crystal Lake Trailhead - Uintaman - 07-23-2010
Last weekend, 4 of us started at Crystal Lake TH and went up over the notch to Lovenia, took in Ibantik and Meadow as well. Did well at first two, for 8-11 Brooks, and nothing at a pit stop at Meadow, fussy cutthroats. Saw an Cow elk, and 7 head of Mountain Goats, some within 50 feet of us. Beautiful trip, good fishing, great scenery . Would like to know anyone elses Unita lakes experiances. I was using bubble and a fly, a five of diamonds spoon, and jigs, all worked.
