WDFW Weekender report goes monthly - FishNews - 07-24-2010
The next Weekender report, the outdoor-recreation guide produced by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW), will be distributed Wednesday, July 28.
With the new edition, Weekender will go to monthly- rather than semi-monthly- publication. Weekender will be distributed on Wednesdays, on or by the first day of each month.<br />
The monthly publication schedule will provide readers with more notice of upcoming opportunities to fish, hunt and watch wildlife in Washington. It also responds to recent reductions in WDFW staffing levels and work hours.<br />
WDFW will continue to distribute the publication by email to subscribers, as well as posting it on the department's website at http://wdfw.wa.gov and on WDFW's Facebook page. The online Weekender report will be updated throughout each month with new rule changes and other significant fishing, hunting and wildlife-viewing information.
