Ventura area fishing question.. - lonehunter - 07-28-2010
A co-worker and myself will be staying in Ventura at the 4 points Sheraton for business in Ojai 9/20/10 to 9/24/10.
What are the prospects for fishing in the area ?
Would need to know licence fees (out of state) , Reliable charters , all costs for a few hours of fishing .
I am the Michigan Mod here on BFT and would appreciate any info anyone can provide .

[#810081]Hi there lonehunter. Hope the weather cools off a bit for your arrival. Believe that your hotel is on the ocean front or close to it. One can fish off the pier, surf or go out on a charter. Well they have fog here every day , high temps are the mid 60's and where are all these pretty blonds with the bikinies ?

Got this one too late..... Lake Casitas would have been a good place to hook up with a guide. Ojai Angler is one there. There is also three sportfishing landings on the coast for fishing the local islands in the Ventura area.
