Telescoping Mini Paddle - Quinterora8 - 08-02-2010 Just curious if anyone on a FC4 uses oars? I found some pretty small ones at Bass Pro the other day. The one that actually caught my eye is Telescoping paddle. I have a hard time turning around on my tube. I wont install a trolling motor cause I need to get my heart rate up, every once in a while. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_52474____SearchResults [signature] Re: [Quinterora8] Telescoping Mini Paddle - albinotrout - 08-02-2010 Walmart carries orange ones like that too. There is a thread on here where someone from Canada I believe had put oars on their tube. Interesting setup using parts of 5 gallon buckets. One paddle could burn some calories, but I don't see how productive it would be to moving. Right flippers and you can really move. You want to row, there is some choices, but you really need a foot brace. I use a set of Coleman 3 piece, they are 45" long, they could be longer. There was a post awhile back about adding oars. Heres my rig. It's the second season for it and no problems. I am going to do some tweeking, need to add a removable rod hold.. [signature] |
