Is the road going to the trail head to get into Granddaddy and Pine Island and those lakes passable with a car?

The road is passable to a car with average clearance. It is steep and will test your cooling system.

You could drive a Cadillac into there, just go slow. Like brookie says, it's steep and has some washboards.
