Took the FatCat out, thanks TD - BigBo - 08-23-2010
Well I took the FC out and it worked as advertised. Used it twice and then the son and I did our big trip.
We took 4 days off and went to Bishop, Ca. We floated Intake Two. Caught a few Rainbows, rented a boat at Sabrina, and not a bite. As we werre leaving the truck came by and planted 800lbs of fish. LOL.
On the last day we paid a guide to take us out and go over the basic fly fishing garb. It was very informative. Caught a few native browns, catch and release.
One of the very best vacations I have ever had.
The FC will get more use as time goes on.

I love my fat cat! TD converted me over and its been awesome! SO also i love fishing bishop! i grew up and learned from my grandpa how to trout fish from our family camping trips there. How was the fishing there and how is bishop looking? I havent been there in over 15yrs

It was my first time at Bishop. Fishing was good. I can not say how it looked vs 15 yrs ago.
The water is amazing.
