ice fishing rod holder help - klam - 12-17-2010

Last year someone posted a tripod style rod holder made out of PVC. I searched the archives and couldn't find it. I think it must have been TubeDude. Could someone give me the link to it or post it again?

Thanks

I make custom made ones if you are interested. Not PVC though.

Hey w4c, I think a most of us are up for new ideas and designs. Have you any pictures of your non-PVC holders? Come on, show off, at least I would like to see.[Smile]

Re: [klam] ice fishing rod holder help - FishKillr - 12-18-2010

TubeDude already posted the one you were talking about, but I figured that I'd show ya what I use as well. I leave the end of the rod barely in the holder (about an inch), that way when you life to set the hook the holder stays on the ice and you can lift just the rod.

Hard to beat a rod lying across an open 7-gal bucket. Up high enough to grab & nothing to pull it out of, and nothing else to carry.

Tube Dude that was the one I remember from last years post. I am going to make some up for my fishing buddies for Christmas.

Thanks
