I was wondering if anyone has been out to check the ice at the Marina yet. I was thinking of heading there at the end of the week if it is safe.

was up their on suday at the marina the whole lake is iced over the marina had 4 to 6 in of ice fished past the boueys fishing was dead landed 1 22 3/4 cut lost 2 i was in a group of 5 hope that helps

I was up there today and can confirm the whole lake is iced over. I fished right outside the marina and also badger bay and there was plenty of thick ice. We couldn't get the fish to bite though. (It was our first time fishing so we probably weren't fishing the right lures but the new auger and ice rod worked great.) Talked to others and only one fish was caught. However it was a beautiful day and the road was great out to the marina. See pic looking toward Haws.

How deep was the snow on the ice? Was the slush monster out yet?

Maybe an inch of light snow by the marina and the bay, but we drove over to mud creek and it looked like a lot of snow on top of the ice over there.
