Anyone been up around Pali
es this week? Just wondering if it iced up with this cold spell. Any info would be appreciated.[signature]

I was there on the first and there was ice forming, but definitely not safe ice. Maybe by now it is better, but I would still be really careful. I also heard a report from a passing motorist that said the lake was completely covered on Tuesday. Probably not very thick.

i was there today. 1-5-11 was soft aroud the edges about 2 feet of slush befor ya get on the ice.. the ice was 3 to 5 inchs.. fishing was hot for 8 to 10 inch bow's some good sized tigers coming in too.
