Retired and ready to seriously fish - mrm - 04-11-2011
I live near Liberty Park, retired last Spring and am trying to get back to fishing more often. I have a small bass boat, fishing kayak (my retirement present to myself) and float tube, which I don't care much for. Being from Mississippi originally, I'm more a warm water person, although I enjoy trout fishing also if that is what my fishing partner is after.
Most of my fishing friends are still working and are at the age that children or grand-children don't leave much time for fishing. I don't mind fishing alone but would rather fish with others. My favorite places are Mantua and Rockport, but I want to try more at Jordanelle and Willard this year, and get back up in the Uintas where I used to camp and fish.
Give me a holler and let's go fishing somewhere.
