The Green - fish2xtc - 04-19-2011
Hit the Green over the weekend and had a great time other than the wind and the flows up a bit which made wading a little tough. Still managed to land several Brown's and Bow's, all on San Juan Worm and WD40's. Ended up getting a flat tire on Sunday so lost some time to fish but decided to stop by the small river by sheep creek, I think it is Manns campground. Anyway, could see some fish as we walked up, and threw some streamers and landed the biggest fish I have caught on my fly rod. Caught a 21 inch fat rainbow. It was pretty crazy and I was pretty excited. Had a great trip and cant wait to hit that area again soon. I love the Gorge and the Green. Wish I could go up there every week, even just to relax.

Awesome. if it is not too windy, you could have some awesome BWO hatches. Several times a hatch would start and then the wind would ruin it. Good luck
