Day off - flygoddess - 04-20-2011 I got all that I need to get done around 10 this morning. I was up on the Foothills so I decided to try some fishing with the new rod I just got done with. It is an 8' 6 wt, glass and probably a little overkill but I needed to feel it. I slapped on some windcutter II. The fish were a little smaller than I expected but still a blast and they bent the glass just fine....Ahhhh I feel much better now. I think that would be a blast to play with pan fish and community pond 12" trout. Great report and thanks for the pics I am slowly converting to a fly fisher! Love it! I've thrown more dries with that up and down the cottonwoods than all of my other rods combined.
