Bigger Cat, Chic, Nadda, 4-21 - FishNews - 04-23-2011 I had planned for a few days to hit the nuke early this morning. I did have to work from about 5 - 7 but wound up getting out a little bit later. Ride home to pick up the toon went well but still running a little behind. Then I was trapped behind a school bus & that was like an anchor. So by the time I got thru the 30 mph in Birchwood & made it to skull island, there is no telling what my BP was. emoBang <br /><br />But, a nice morning when I finally got on the water. I thought any way. considerable amount of wind & I was almost it on the lake. Obviously everyone else knew that there would be no cat action today. Current was very strong. Tack that on to the head wind & it was difficult to keep my toon from flying down river. I wore my battery out & give up after about 4 or 5 hours. I was under dressed to boot. Pretty cool out to.<br /><br />Sorry to say, not a bite. Couldn't find fish on the sonar either. Fished with skip jack, chicken, some marinated shrimp, brim & no telling what. Just don't think the fish was there. Water temp was between 60° & 61°. Just no action for me today. My plan is to give it another shot Saturday morning.
