I've never really tried techniques before such as jigging. what techniques should i try and how do i do them?

Hi,
I did a quick check, it is 4 thousand something pike catches and close to 1500 are caught on jerk baits. Seem more effective than jigs, it is also my experience.

Fishing for walleye and pike are really so different they should be in different sections. Sure you can catch either when fishing for either, but the styles are much different most of the time.
Where and what are you fishing for? Many factors can dictate how you're going to fish.
