So, i live by this canal that ive seen fish in, i've seen them all over the place, can you fish in these canals? whats the best way to do so? :o very curious if i can catch some cats' in my backyard [

As long as you aren't trespassing on private property you shouldn't have any problems with fishing the canal. The usual baits (crawlers and cut baits) should work for most of the fish that you will find. There are probably also some white bass that might hit some lures.
