fishing recommendations - lflemmer - 06-20-2011 Hi, We recently moved to Ogden and are eager to start fishing! I was wondering if anyone could recommend somewhere that is good for shore fishing (walleye especially) and has a decent campground. All information and advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! It won't even feel like we're camping." I'm sure you're now thinking the same thing I was... R u friction kidding?!? I reminded him that this isn't Minnesota (we r both originally from there) and the options are much more limited. So, if you have any other suggestions, that'd be great. He doesn't seem to mind the idea of having to travel a little. I, on the other hand, am not that picky. Put me somewhere I can set my chair up with a cooler of beer and hungry fish. (I don't even care if they're walleye. Catfish, crappie, trout all taste good!) By the way, do you happen to know what the aforementioned are biting on? I'm about to re-stock the tackle box. Thanks so much! [signature] Re: [lflemmer] fishing recommendations - BigBassaholic - 06-20-2011 deep diving cranks for wipers 15-20' divers. I am also from minnesota. I have not fished for the walleye but I hear they are on the bottom and slow trolling worm rigs. I have caught alot of catfish trolling deep for the wipers on the cranks. good luck.. [signature] |
