Rexburg Nature Ponds - FishingRookie - 06-23-2011
With all the high water and a wife ready to pop at any minute (She is 8 9/10 months pregnant!) I have been hitting the nature ponds to get my fishing fix in.
MONDAY: StickRig and I hit the ponds for about 2 hours on Monday night and I hooked 3 but didnt land any of them and StickRig managed one on shore. I hooked mine on a Kastmaster and StickRig was fishing worms under a bobber
TUESDAY: Hit the ponds from 8-10PM. I caught one nice fat 13" Rainbow on the same Kastmaster and both StickRig and I had some hits on worms but only managed the one.
WEDNESDAY: I had a long lunch from school so I hit the ponds around 1PM for an hour. I fished with a Panther Martin in Perch colors and had 4 fish in the hour with the biggest being around 14" (See Pic Below) I found most of the fish tucked up in the trees and shade because it was a scorcher today!
