8 wt and 0x tippet. Still usually takes 5-10 minutes to get them in. The ones in the river fight a lot harder than the ones in the reservoir as well.

That looks like a lot of fun. Those are as big as some salmon I have caught. Plus they are closer to home, and I don't have to get sea sick fishing for them!! .......Now that I am all fired up to go, I am busy most of this month.... Bummer! A time for everything. I am sure the carp population isn't going away any time soon! [laugh][laugh]
