Tigers? - Salmotrutta81 - 07-11-2011 Hello everyone. I am somewhat new to the site. I was wondering if you all could help steer me in the right direction? I am interested in pursuing Tiger Trout. What waters would you recommend? Of course I will be pursuing them with a fly rod. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks. Doesn't Birch Creek have them (duohh! Shoulda said that!) Re: [kochanut] Tigers? - sinergy - 07-11-2011 Me too I hoping the higher flows clean the debris and create more eddies for the fish. I have a feeling by the end of the summer \ fall should be epic for bigger fish. If so, any recommendations? I am not asking for secret spots (I understand and respect the secret fishing locations). Thanks. I know in the past when they were doing work on the dam they fenced the road off but that was a coulple of years ago. Maybe someone who been up recently can chime in. [signature] Re: [Salmotrutta81] Tigers? - pa - 07-12-2011 Vernon Reservoir has them also. [signature] Re: [Salmotrutta81] Tigers? - downed_Phly - 07-13-2011 Lots of tiger trout in the Uintah lakes. Last year, that's all I caught. They weren't huge, but they were hungry. I tied on a dry fly and put a prince nymph about 2-3 feet under it and they loved it. [signature] Re: [downed_Phly] Tigers? - Hikinandfishin - 07-14-2011 There are some tigers in the Beaver Mountain lakes also. I've caught them in Kents and a couple of other places. (And summer has actually come to the mountains near Beaver . . .)
