South Fork of Boise below Andeson Dam - FlyFishng_Fool - 07-25-2011 Any word on how the flows are? And of couse if fishing is any good or not. Usually the water starts to drop this time of year. Salmon flies were thick, water was high but doable (at least if you're 6-4). Guys going by in boats were throwing foam at the banks, but I did better fishing sparkle pupas in caddisy looking spots- dead drifted, but most takes were at the end of the drift when I'd let it rise with the current. Biggest fish was a 16 inch football i bet would have gone 3 lbs. Sorry i don't have any more recent intel. [signature] |
