upper, middle, lower web - kochanut - 07-31-2011
fished all three sections today. fished right above rockport until like 930 when 238324234213413321423 people showed up. had some guy hi-hole me and i called him out and he got all his feel bads hurt. i caught 4 right in front of him. i gave my hole to two boys who were chucking worms and watched this guy try to take this hole from them. some peoples kids.
moved onto the middle section. fished alot of the public section and then 3 of the private stretches we have access to. caught a guy jumping the fence into my bro-in laws land and called him out on it alos. he tried to play it off, so when i asked him who owned the land he told me some off the wall name. once he knewe he was busted he tried to play it cool. had he asked im 100% positive the bro-in law would have let him fish any where he wanted to. again.... some peoples kids. the river in both the upper and middle sections is in great shape. a little higher then normal but has some awesome clarity.
i moved down to below taggarts, saw the rubber hatch and started walking. river is alot higher here, and stained but very fishable. had a few rafters come through where i was drifting a rig but everyone of them was polite and did their best to stay on the far side of the river so as not to trouble me. saw three scaddens come out.
some poor dude locked his keys in his jeep so i gave them the butt section of my Winston and he was able to get back in. go figure, the rod catches fish and breaks into jeeps quiet easily.
did not catch any show stoppers. the suprise i saw today was when i let the boys take my hole above rockport one caught a small tiger trout. a few more weeks the and the river should be perfect in all sections

I feel your pain. I went up to Wyoming only to have Utahans high hole me with the next closest fisherman a couple miles a way.

] I swear people jumping fences to private land really pisses me off. As you already know Private land owners used that exact same excuse to support Hb187. Grrrr You did the right thing confronting him. Wish more people would understand were in the middle of a law suit to fight HB187 jumping, trespassing does not help the issue.
